TPMS offers me personally - zero benefits. By the time it illuminates on the dash the event has already happened (blow out, low pressure, whatever). It's there for the dummies that never ever check their pressure. I do all my own maintenance. A TPMS sensor isn't going to point out dry rot, broken belts, sidewall damage, alignment issues, wear issues, etc that I would catch.
Oh but it works with the stability control...yeah that's the first thing that gets turned off when I get in the car. Especially in winter as A. it attempts to kill any fun, and B. it interferes too much and makes the car less controllable. I know about weight transfer, traction circle, counter steering, and how to control a car - having a system come in and cut power when I need it or try to brake individual wheels in an attempt to determine where I want to go yields less control. I've tested this out on tracks and in snowy conditions. I have more control without the electronic ninnies.
Same for ABS, zero benefit to me. I already know how to threshold and cadence brake and I would rather be in control. ABS in winter just increases stopping distances which regular folk don't seem to understand. They really need to teach how to avoid using ABS in drivers ed, it's one of the first things they teach you during any track instruction.
