I'm sorry, but that person was wrong. eVGA will not cross-ship cards with the Step Up program, period.

I just called and confirmed they won't cross ship. I'll have to stick my 6800 back in the meantime. Luckily eVGA is one day away using priority mail.

sent my older 7800GT in today via FedEx Supersaver ($39.00+ from Fl). cheapest air they offer. sheesh. still $50.00 (shipping both ways) to upgrade to a 7900GT CO SC isn't bad. i'm going to wait unti i get it before i ship off the newer 7800GT. i'm definitely going to try and find some cheaper air frieght with verifiable tracking. i guess USPS Priority w/dc doesn't cut it.
how are you guys shipping?

Hah, I shipped my card from Northridge (about twice as far from Brea) with FedEx Ground for $4 and it got there in 14 hours. I think you wasted $5.30.

Yes, waiting to see myself. Went ahead and sent off groud UPS, couldn't bare another $20 on top of the $48 it cost to upgrade my highly overclockable 7800.I hate the Californians for their quick/cheap shipping to EVGA but very much appreciate their forefront of feedback on this.

But how does it matter how much time they take? You won't send the card if they take too much time?

I see that my first card was delivered at 9AM this morning. Nothing yet about when my first step-up card will ship out. I'm hoping they'll get it processed today and have it shipped out tomorrow, but we'll see...

mrkun?

I haven't gotten an e-mail yet. On their last update they said that they should have all the GT step-ups filled by Friday though.

Sent my 2 7800GT's out on tuesday, so hopefully it'll get there either tommorow or friday (using USPS priority mail, which is pretty quick, 3 days at most).

What sucks is that I live in New York (all the way on the east coast) and it's gettting shipped to California (all the way on the west coast).
Shipping was $20 a box using USPS (priority mail).

The thing is, if you don't send it priority, then it could take a week or more to get there (cause I've tried it) which is a little slow IMO and the price difference isn't THAT much.

Well, got oblivion today too, so I WANT MY CARDS!!
(stuck playing oblivion on a 9800XT, which sucks)

Bah! UPS tried to deliver my video card today, but no one was home. The tracking website said that it wasn't scheduled to be delivered until tomorrow. Oh well.
