Well, I'm stepping up 2 7800GT's for 2 7900GT's. The price difference is pretty much nothing. So I'm getting two faster (and very overclockable) cards for like $30 bucks.

BTW, I'm #130 and #131 in the queue. I'm guessing that evga processes about a couple hundred a day so hopefully it doesn't take too long.

#137 for a 7900GT CO, just submitted. Does anyone know/see if the 90 days goes by step up submittal date or by actual processing date? I'm hoping submittal date as my 90days expires on the 17th.

According to this link, the superclocked 7900GT is 339.99$, yet newegg.com is listing it at 369.00$ -- bwuh?

Also, how are you guys determing where you stand in the queues.

I submitted to step-up two 7800GTs to two superclocked 7900GTs, but was not informed of where I'm at in the queues.

Anyone?

I'm 6 and 7 #'s better than you, ha

And if you READ the FAQ and Terms and Services like your suppose to do you would have known that it's the submit day. As long as you SUBIT for the step up before your 90 days is up, your good to go. So, I guess your good to go.

So, has the # moved at all since you've signed up?

And how fast is it moving from anyone here?

Got a question for all of you.

Can I step up my evga 7800GT CO to a 7900GT CO. I bought the 7800GT at $319, and now the 7900GT CO is $319. I heard that the step up has to be of greater value, but you think the'll let me step up? Cause I already submitted the info for both my 7800GT CO's.

so you're looking to upgrade for free right now?

hmm...logic tells me that you would HAVE to step up to a product that has greater value

but you should just email the stepup department of evga, their reply is pretty quick, usually within 1 day

If they denie it I'll just say change it to the 7900GT CO Superclock. That thing is like $339 right? So I'd have to pay $20? Don't really care.

Or maby the'll reduce the value of my 7800's to $300 instead and make me pay.

I would suggest you to step up directly to CO Superclock (Specially if you don't really care for $20, as you say). That will guarantee that you get the card without troubles.

what about the %15 restocking fee in reguards to a damaged box due to removal of the UPC for a rebate.

Currently there is a big hole in my 7800gt box because of the rebate i sent in.

Also will this rebate affect the final cost?

here's how they do the calculation
(the price on invoice - any rebate) - the msrp on evga's website

and evga wouldn't charge you 15% restocking fee for that hole (i guess it's included when you subtract the rebate)

Well, when I do ship out my 7800's for the step up, I won't have any video card for my Main Gaming rig.

Guess I'll have to turn to the old 9800XT machine.

Yes.

Someone talked to the Customer Service guys (Keep your pinch of salt with you) and was told that his queue number in the 40s was good enough to get him the card in the first lot. But as for me, I am not waiting on this to happen very soon. Let's face it, we aren't going to be the top priority for the eVGA guys right now.

I'm still #3 for the 7900GT CO Superclocked, so it looks like no orders have been filled yet (at least for that card).
