what do evga do with all the used card?

My guess is eVGA will do the retest or rebios or both to make sure all of the returned cards are okay. Then they may sell to e-retailers as OEM or to branded computers mfg such as Dell.

Just wanted to point out to u that u must have missed the fact that I never asked about the queue and so ur post was irelevant.

This was my question.

Just got off the phone with eVGA customer service. The dude told me that all RMAed cards received last week have been processed and will be shipped today.

I take it with a grain of salt of course.

Edit: I am waiting for a 7900GT OC.

EVGA received my card on Thursday. Their website says it is still in process for testing and whatnot. I hope it gets sent today so I might have it by Friday. That'd be nice. My MX440 PCI (NOT express, just PCI) video card doesn't play F.E.A.R. too well.

I thought about sending both of my 7800GTs at the same time, but I couldn't bare the thought of either using a crappy standard PCI card or being without a computer to game on for potentially 3 weeks time.

I was at 66 and 67 and just got the email for my invoices over the weekend. Looks like another batch of cards just came in.

I hope I get it by Friday. I AM glad they offer this program though.

I sent in my card last Monday. UPS screwed me and delivered it a day late on friday morning. I got my tracking number tonight. Will have my card on Wednesday. Pretty good turn around at Evga if you ask me. I called them this morning to ask about it before i knew it was shipped. They said that the reason for everyone not getting their cards last week was because of a bad batch of cards. They had to wait until today to get their new batch of cards. He also said that some of the people who have called and it has been over the specified 3 days for them to ship have been getting a free overnight delivery upgrade.

So fear not if your card was at Evga last week it should have been shipped today or first thing Tuesday.

My god it feels like i havent played Oblivion in ages!!!!!!!

I received an email yesterday that my card was shipped. It will end up being 3 weeks for the time it took to send them the card(1 week), process the Step-Up (1week), and ship it back to me (1 week). I'm happy I decided to go SLI and purchased the 2nd card right after I sent in my Step-Up to EVGA. I couldn't go w/o my PC for 3 weeks!

Wow, TODAY is my last day of my 90 days. I'm definitely going to do all this stuff on my lunch break from work in a little bit. Do you think that if the warranty lapses while in queue, it voids the step-up? I would doubt it, but companies seem to like catches like that...

Anyways, I had no idea about this. I got a 7800GT in January, and I'm definitely going to go for a 7900GTX! Thanks, fellas.

I sent my card last Monday and they got it on Tuesday (I am local).

They shipped my card yesterday. It's a 7900gt sc co.

They are shipping from Anaheim, about 20 minutes away via UPS ground. I should get it today. Woot.

I just shipped my 7800GT off for step-up!

I applied for step-up Mar 10. Went from cue #293 to #6 in four days; sat at #6 for over two weeks. Now the wait...

My rig sits idle as I use my T-Bird baby rig as a backup. Maybe I could sell it and buy a spare PCI-E card. :disgust:

Man, I hope stuff ships to me from Anaheim also. I'm in Ventura, which is only about 2 hours away!

My step up is now ready to go.

Here's a question: If I ship my card out on Monday via 2-day and they ship it back to me via 2-day, will I have it back on Friday? I doubt it but it sure would be nice.

Doubtful. There's likely a 1-2 day in house delay.

I'm with ya though. I opted for two day each way...

I got a few questions about the stepup. On their site, they say: Participants in the EVGA Step-up? Program are entitled to exercise one (1) upgrade event during the span of the program, per eligible graphics card.

So that means I'm still eligible to step up to anything but the card im stepping up to right now, right? (So if I want to step up another card to a G80, for example, can I do that?)

I called eVGA yet again. This time the dude on the phone put me on hold and did some asking around the office, but he once again said that my replacement card should have shipped yesterday but was unsure why I had not received an e-mail confirmation yet.

No. Only one step-up per new card purchased. You cannot step up from a step-up.

Got my card yesterday (7900GT SC). I was first in the queue - the reason it took so long was that I am in Canada. To their credit, they sent it USPS priority, which = priority courier in Canada (next business day after it gets through customs). No duty, taxes, or other fees as they marked it as a replacement card.

Now onto the card... Vmodded to 1.5 and 2.2, using a Thermalright V1-ultra - I am 100% stable/artifact free at 720/1900.

EVGA is on my A list for sure.
