I believe that my Android phone ‘regularly’ accesses the network without my asking it to. I would like to find out if my suspicions are true and if they are, see what the phone is accessing.
My home LAN is managed by a TP-LINK TL-R470T router. No complaints, but when I looked through the entire UI, I did not see a log feature. If it had one, problem solved.
I manage my wireless access point via CloudTrax and I seem to recall their having a log. However, when I just logged in, CloudTrax reported that the last check-in from my access point was 224 days ago and when I clicked in the ‘Support’ link, I was told “An error occurred during a connection to help.cloudtrax.com.” This may be due to the fact that the site indicates “All remaining Open Mesh hardware products are end of life on December 31, 2021.”, but since my Open Mesh access point works fine, I am not terribly motivated to update it (though I am checking out a different service provider).
Can anyone suggest a means for me to monitor my phone’s network activity?
