Trade in a 9600XT for a 9800Pro?

Ok folks - quick opinions. I had $200 worth of Best Buy gift cards saved up for a new video card. Given the price point, the 9600XT seemed to be the best choice. That was 2 weeks ago and today I see Best Buy dropped the price of the 9800Pro from $299 to $249 with and addition $50 mail rebate. Even without the mail it (I hate mail in rebates) - my gut tells me to take back the 9600xt +$50 and exchange it for the 9800pro. Given all the benchmarks, it seems like a no brainer.

Are there any reasons why I might want to keep the 9600xt instead? (I can't think of any) - Only other point is that the 9600xt came with the coupon for HL2 and the 9800Pro doesn't - not a big deal as I'll just buy it when it is released and not have to wait the 6-8 weeks to get it from the coupon.....

BTW - the card is going into a Asus P4P800 w/ a P4 2.8c, 1GB 400DDR etc.

get rid of the 9600xt, get the 9800 pro, that extra 50 bucks you spend while you wait for the rebate will be WELL worth it.

get the 9800pro.. huge difference.

I did the same thing, had a 9600XT while my 9800 Pro was off in RMA land, popped the 9800 PRo in and everything was smooth again....

Get the 9800Pro, the performance gains are well worth the price difference.
