then they need to stick to what they do best: make office for iphone/android! make software! make games! it's safe to say it's too late in the mobile OS days.
Samsung has announced 32gb models before for the galaxy s2 and then cancelled them. Not enough interest?
I don't think we will get a 64gb model. 32gb maybe.
As long as it's got an sd slot all is good. 64gb cards are readily available and 128gb ones should arrive soon.
Yep, they're about $85 on Amazon, which makes me puke to think I spent $200 more to have a 64GB iPhone 4S.

I would like to hear more about what sort of battery life people are getting with the One X. I really want to get this phone but my fear is that it still won't be "next gen" battery life despite the new SoC...seems some people say it's great and others say it's just okay. I'm sure Moto is going to release a new batch of phones soon that will all offer 3300mAh batteries like the MAXX, but I've never really liked any of Moto's phones and also don't feel like waiting...too many unknowns.
I'm not getting battery life that reviewers are, Today I maybe sent 3 texts and played 1 game for about 5 minutes. I was at 90% at 2pm, when I left at 11 I was down to 66. Since I had wifi and data off, I have no freaking idea why it dropped so much. Tomorrow I'll have it at 100 with data/wifi off and leave it in my car all day to see what the % is at when I get off. I must have some persistent app that's running in the back hummm I should go check that.
Me either but I read on xda that it takes a couple of charge cycles to get the battery going. is this true?

This isn't specific to any device, all rechargeable batteries have a break in period when new to reach their full potential. It's not huge but it can be noticeable.
Anyone with the One X have any feedback in regards to the apparent multi-tasking issues?
XDA forums are saying the phone is overly aggresive with removing apps' cached information which forces all the data to reload. This occurs even if the application has only been idle for a few minutes. An example being: switching from a browser to a music app to change the song, check back in your browser a minute or 2 later and all your opened tabs need to refresh the page they were displaying from scratch.

While this issue seems like it could be fixed, if this was set up intentionally to allow the battery life to seem decent it will definately keep me from getting the phone.
Poor Microsoft. I hear a lot of people are returning their lumia's for androids. Sucks to be MS at this point in the mobile race... I'd give them another 2 years before they become WP7 becomes the next Kin.... Well they are the next to Kin because they both share the same parents
MS just doesn't get it, and it cost them billions and billions. Stick to Windows. Stick to Xbox. Make money. Windows Mobile is dead, and they need to cut their losses now..

people are so damn fickle. i was perfectly fine with my winmo6.1 phone, the apps were decent, there was well over 100k apps for it, and there were some really good phones for their time. people bitched about it, then bitched about the "fix" that was 6.5. so, 7 was made. now, 8 is in the works and people are still bitching that they are doomed.
on the bolded part... my droidX does this constantly. if i am playing angry birds and get a text, ill switch over for less than 30 sec and have to restart the game. if im in a web browser and do the same, it reloads all the tabs when i go back to the browser. its very annoying, and has been happening for a couple updates. im still running stock GB on this phone as well.
I've read some posts from people who claim to have had hands on time with the Galaxy S3 and they are saying it does the same thing. These are really the only 2 phones I'd consider at this point in time, so if I guess if I had to choose, I'll take the One X over the ugly GS3.
I'm going to wait until some actual reviewers can comment on the GS3 behavior though, and hopefully at some point there will be info from HTC on whether users should expect their devices to get an update to address this.
