Transferring files

I just burned some of my dvd movies before my brother took them with him to college. I just got a new computer and I was wondering how could I transfer files that are bigger than the cds to my new computer. This comp im on doesn't have a dvd burner so I can't burn them onto dvds.

I hope I understand your question properly. I take it you currently have 2 computers, the old one which is storing these DVD files and the new one which does not have a burner? If this is the case, you can network your computers and either share your DVD drive for the new one to use or just transfer the files over. If this is not the case, more details would be appreciated.
