On Optimus? I believe these new ones are all plastic compared to the 20th Anv. edition which had die-cast metal.

I got the 20th die-cast version for only $35... Clearances are wonderful

Nah... I meant the 20th Anniversary DVD Edition Optimus Prime, which is what's for sale at Amazon. I first saw it at TRU for $90 which was too expensive so I nabbed it at $70 two weeks later when I found it at Target, thinking I was getting a decent deal. (lol) As far how this differs from the original release, everything that was chromed is now a metallic grey, the red paint is brighter/less sparkly, there's no "battle damage", and his gun is now inexplicably blue instead of black - they're otherwise identical, diecast and all, but the original looks a bit better. The grill and smokestacks on this edition piss me off a little every time I look at them, though; the missing chrome makes a pretty big difference.

You got the original for $35? You lucky dog! Did you ever take it out of the box?

Yup Classic line, besides, the two I have (bumblebee and hot rod) are a lot better than then those overpriced reissues they had a few years ago. The orignial toys were nice, but these are a lot better.
