Commercials say July 3rd
Online Trailers say July 4th

Whats the real release date?! Me and my friends want to catch the midnight opening but we arent sure what damn day to go with all of these conflicting info.

Why don't you try Yahoo Movies, Fandango, Moviefone, the newspaper to see what it is in your town?

The 3rd is the official release date, but it was shown tonight as well. Had a few 8pm showing in my area tonight.

I purchased mine online from Hollywood.com. Went ~1hr early. Picked up the tickets. No lines. Didnt see an empty seat 15mins before showtime. Great Movie. I'll probably go see it again, To insure a sequel is made.

Sequel is already in the works. It was announced a few days ago.
