I don't watch these because they were really really bad. I never even finished the third one. I don't hate all Michael Bay movies, I love Bad Boys 2 and The Rock but Transformer movies were just really bad.

I have watched the first 4 movies, hated 2 and 4 but 5 is definitely not good based on this knowledge and the reviews. But i am sure it will make gobs of money.

I actually completely read it wrong and thought you said "I didn't realize The Rock was in this".

I Havent liked any of the transformer movies. Once an action scene takes place, which is most of the movie, i cant tell whats happening. Its just a crazy mess of metal and explosions.

Saw it tonight and enjoyed it. In general if you've liked the previous ones you should like this.

Not sure why 'plot' was mentioned as the main reason for the negative reviews, it seemed pretty easy to follow.

Only negative I had as a watching it aspect, was when they first got the the castle. Looked like that part was all done in CGI in a sound stage, which is odd as it was almost nothing but human actors at that point.

The first one was amusing, but after that they started to get further and further out there in terms of 'huh' plots. I honestly don't remember much of the third one except the blonde while hot couldn't act. I don't remember the 4th one at all.. I know I watched it, but I'll be damned if I can remember anything other than Marky Mark and the blonde from the first season (maybe more than that season, I stopped watching) of "Bate's Motel" was in it. I vaguely remember them attempting to retrofit the Transformers into earth's past, which from looking at the trailers this one goes even farther.
