It's amazing to me just how high a % of people who discuss the whole Zimmerman/Trayvon thing absolutely refuse to admit why it was Zimmerman found him suspicious. As in, the primary reason.
Did the hoodie play a role? Yea, sure... did his race play a role? sure...
But 90% of why Zimmerman's suspicion was aroused was Trayvon's behavior. He described him moving and acting suspiciously. Any cop will tell you, that isn't a ridiculous statement. That's a real thing. Hoodlums and thugs have a way of carrying themselves, a way of walking and moving through an environment... part of it is trying to look intimidating, part of it is trying to keep an eye out to make sure nobody's watching them, and in some cases (like this one) part of it is being intoxicated in some way.
Because nobody in the media or discussing this case in any forum were there to see this behavior first hand, and because before they even knew much of anything about the case they'd already been convinced by the MSM's malpractice that Zimmerman was a horrible murderous racist monster and Trayvon was the little kid in the Hollister shirt with skittles... they never gave this issue it's proper consideration. They dismissed the idea that Trayvon was carrying himself in a suspicious way.
With what has come out about him, and the 7-11 video, this is now not only believable, it's all but a certainty.
So these red herrings of the hoodie and the candy and his race are just distractions used by people to frame it in a more inflammatory, stupid, and racially toxic way.
