I read all these hardware reviews and see the "real-world" performance of them with FPS nearing 200fps. Not to knock Q3,MDK2, or UT, but I think Dreamworks Interactive's Trespasser: Jurassic Park is a much better game to really push CPUs and GPUs to the limits. The physics of the game really is extremely processor intensive, and the drawing of the open spaces and dinosaurs really push the graphics card. It may not be a popular platform for which other people can compare their FPS, but it really tests to see just how "powerful" these CPU setups are. The highest FPS I've seen on Tres was 51. To me, the ultimate test of any computer rig is to see if it can run Trespasser above 60fps. Every computer I've ran Trespasser on seems to slow down at some point, hopefully the project I'm working on will break that trend. Just my two cents . . .
