Apparently there are some free Spinfusor Soldier codes here: http://*****/YQxxRVfK
There were only ~2.5k left when I snagged mine.

90 FOV is an archaic value from back in the day when 4:3 resolutions dominated, a properly adjusted value for 16:10 and 16:9 would be 100 and 106 respectively. Unfortunately 3 x 1080p monitors in landscape mode are simply going to be far too wide to be properly supported just yet.I have no idea. Default of 90 is good for one monitor, but I imagine with 3 you'd want to consider 120 or something. Just experiment to see if it helps your issue at all.
very doubtful they are aimbotters, I've only seen 2 obvious bots in my time and that was only within a few weeks of Closed Beta starting way back in October (basically back when most all of the automatic weapons were still hitscan). HiRez has been doing a very good job of implementing their own anti-cheat system.Been running into aimbotters the past few days. I've played several TDM games featuring some guy getting 25-30 kills with an assault or sniper rifle. It's blatantly obvious when you fly over someone at 150 kph and they track you perfectly.

What the hell is the counter to a tank in your generator room with a MIRV launcher? Guess another tank outside with a MIRV launcher. Last few days I've been seeing more and more of these guys and it's basically a one shot kill if I'm anywhere near the damn thing when it goes off.
when you say "tank", are you talking about the actual Beowulf Tank which is a giant land-bound vehicle, or are you talking about the Juggernaut, a heavy armor class which has access to the MIRV launcher weapon?
A Soldier with a Spinfusor and an aggressive nature is the best way to put pressure on and take out a tank (at least eventually)
As for countering a Juggernaut with MIRV in your gen room, a Technician with Thumper can work well.
Another option is to try and fight fire with fire, go Jugg yourself. Brute with Fractal grenades is another option to try and clear out deeply rooted enemies.
Plopped down 50 bucks worth of gold last night. Unlocked the sentinel. Holy crap is sniping tough. The reticle is tough to work with. Been playing CTF as a pathfinder defending the base and having a blast. Unlocked technician. Cant wait to place turrets

The players you see getting 25-30 kills simply have been playing for months already, and likely have been playing Tribes in one or many of its previous incarnations for years.
I say this because I regularly hit well beyond those frag counts and am definitely not cheating
here's a video of me piling up 86 frags in CTF playing an offensive Technician (not at all how the class was intended to be played): http://www.twitch.tv/bojinglebells/b/315123907
You may get more kills in CTF, but not in TDM (whole team only gets ~60 kills total before match ends) AND with just an assault rifle. It's pretty obvious just from dueling them, because they lock onto you like a turret. I've played enough FPS's to know that no one is that accurate. It looks like this:

F2p, no dedicated servers (and thus no server admins), hacking is going to be a problem as the game get's more popular.
its actually the first to 100 kills, it might seem like 60 if your team controls the flag and is getting 2x bonuses most of the round
That being said I regularly hit in the 25-30 range in TDM for several reasons
1. the more seasoned players are more likely to play CTF or even Arena, not TDM.
2. most players out there simply aren't that good at the game (at least not yet), particularly when it comes to fragging
3. a lot of players get discouraged too quickly when it comes to the machine guns and thus revert back to the AOE weapons as a crutch. This is a huge mistake, particularly for TDM which is almost entirely outdoors where the machine guns reign supreme
when you combine all that together it means a player of my caliber can easily rack up dozens of kills while everyone else is muddling around in the single digits.
Assault rifle is not a machine gun, it's extremely limited in killing speed normally.
I seriously doubt its an aimbot you've seen, especially if its only 25-30 kills, and is far more likely its just your disbelief of level of skill. I know I haven't seen one in several months.
edit: by the way can I carry more than 2 weapons at a time (besides belt weapons)?
if you're noticing new weapons all of the sudden it might be because you improved beyond rank 6
when you're brand new they place you in match finding queue with other new players, but then when you hit that special rank they throw you right into the deep end of the pool where you'll see players like me who have had everything unlocked for months and have enough reserved XP (I'm over 2.5 million IIRC) to immediately unlock and upgrade any new released items as soon as they are released.
I'm thinking of getting the "bounty hunter" primary perk now and the "potential energy" perk later on. How does that sound on a TDM pathfinder who's only interested in getting kills?

Is rank 6 the cutoff? I have no proof otherwise, just wondering. I figured it made more sense at lvl 8 because that's also when the other modes unlock.
