Anandtech was a big part of Michael's life when he was out of the hospital and isolated at home. You were a place he was able to grow in his technical knowledge and skill, but also a place for him to test his opinions and values.

We trust that you will continue to be such a community and that you will go on to "change the world" to be a better place for all humanity to live.

They performed an autopsy and took tissue samples before cremating him. The tissue sample were sent to the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, which was conducting research on ALPS (autoimmune lymphoproliferative syndrome). And yes we had discussed it.
