I never spoke to Soccerman personally but I do remember reading his posts. May you find comfort soon.

I knew Soccerman from my earliest days posting at Anandtech and we often participated in threads about video cards. He was a very bright and sharp individual who always had something worthwhile to say. It really saddens me about his death and I can't believe it happened so suddenly.

R.I.P Soccerman, and my condolences to his family and friends. He will be missed.

Elite member or not, he's a person and it would be just as horrible if any other member passed away whether or not their status/post count was higher than others. It disgusts me that you would use those things to judge whether someone will be missed or not.

This is terrible. I am shocked. I knew Soccerman from his posts, as well as chatting with him on ICQ. I can't believe this has happened.
