Triceps harder to gain?

I have been seeing noticeable gains in biceps, strengthwise and size wise

However, there is very little progress in triceps. Am I doing workouts wrong? or is it normal?

1 . Cable Tricep Extensions
2. Grip Tricep pull downs
3. Seated Triceps Extension with dumbell
4. Overhead Tricep Cable Extension

This.

I know it's particular to any given machine, but on the double stack here in my gym, I can triceps push down the entire stack about 6-7 times. However, aesthetically my triceps lack.

Those exercises you listed are all fine. Honestly, triceps are one of the one muscle groups where I think machines are better for size gain than free weight. Skull crushers and close grip bench are great, but they wreck my wrists and elbows, and a triceps push down allows for a safer movement and better squeeze at peak contraction. YMMV.

Only suggestions I'd have would be to incorporate your tricep movements immediately after doing chest (if you aren't already), to set your rep counts for hypertrophy and maximum growth (8-12 reps), and to include some "practical" movements, such as weighted dips, tricep pushups, etc.

Even with all that, you may not see tricep growth because some of that is genetic.

We don't gain strength in triceps due to genetics?

Edit - I forgot to mention that it has only been 42 days since I started gym.

If you've only been working out for 42 days then be patient. Seeing visible muscle growth may take anything from 8-12 weeks.

And I mean visible growth. You can become stronger (see powerlifters) but not appear to have grown muscle. Some people have a propensity to have more "visible" muscles, even if they don't spend a significant amount of time developing them. There is a treasure trove of information on how to maximize your muscle appearance if you do some searching.

Anything and everything about us is due to genetics. Why do you think some people are naturally gifted at certain sports/overall more athletic than others. They are genetically stronger/faster/more coordinated than other people.

Just stick with your program. Take a weekly or biweekly photo of yourself just wearing under wear. Then 6 months from now, look at your picture from today. I'm sure you'll notice a difference.

your tricep exercises are poor choices IMO. you're using cables for most of them, then light dumbbells for the other. cables should be a last resort. when you're going for size, you want to put as much weight up as you can. you're not doing that with cables or single handed dumbbell exercises

do some close grip barbell presses and skull crushers. with free weights. you can get a lot more total weight up doing those than you will with single handed dumbbell exercises. that will get your triceps swole and bulging.

also are you doing bench presses or shoulder presses? any pushing exercises will also do your triceps secondary. not sure what your routine looks like, but if you have a full tricep part of your workout, do it after you do one of the other push muscle groups (chest or shoulders).

sure genetics play some role but you're far from reaching your genetic potential if you're 40 days in.

just don't be one of those guys who do "arms" at the gym and think to get big arms all they have to do is a bunch of curls. triceps and shoulders are just as important for having big arms. i always find it funny when people say they are doing "arms" at the gym because the arm is made up of so many different muscle groups.

I am going to blame my gym trainer for this. He hardly pays attention and sometimes let us do whole routine wrong way and then correct later on.

Changing gym from next month.
