Tried the Geforce MX on Sunday, It was a no go and 2D was bad..

Went to the local computer show on sunday and bought a E-vga Geforce MX Card with 32 meg memory, From the start it was a nightmare, First I uninstalled my voodoo 3 2000 and installed the MX card, Tried to reboot and no video at all, reseated the card and all was well I thought,started to load the drivers and BANG, The blue screen of death,rebooted and same Sh!t,Third time the install went well,system rebooted after the driver install and the card seemed real snappy , then I went to change my screen resolution to 1280 * 1040 (I always ran this resolution) changed it and the 2D looked like Sh!t.SO to make a long story short,I ripped this Mx card out and bought A voodoo 4 4500 and I am very happy with this card ,Its a lot better then I thought...

One thing tough, I would like to read a review of the voodoo 4 card , has anyone seen any.......

Glad to hear you like your voodoo4. I have a voodoo5 and i'm very very pleased with it.

No offense, but if you already have the card, and like it, why would you need to read a review of it?

I have read a lot of posts, about people having the same sort of problem, in each case loading the proper driver ( inf file ) for the monitor in use cured the problem. Maybe yoy gave up on the card prematurely. Just my .02 c.(Radarman)

if it looks bad the .inf file for the monitor wouldn't help. It just says what refresh rates and resolutions to support (basically). If anything, lower refresh rates look better -- if you can stand flicker.
