Thank you! She doesn't know yet , I go to pick her up at work in about 20. I'm quite sure she will be pleasantly surprised, maybe even take me to McD's lol - She's the kind that will say 'ok we were going to have to spend $123 to get out of this mess, lets take $20 and go to that mexican restaurant we always like tonight instead'.

No arguments there. I didn't even bleed in the process of this misadventure. I always have said 'the job isn't complete until I've bled a bit'.

Worries me actually now that I think about it.. j/k it all works now.

More jobs last overnight that way, than due to complexity.

After a night of cooling off I figured out that I had bent the stupid rod just enough that it was messing things up. Couple of good bashes with a hammer and everything was good as new!
