I enjoyed Trine for awhile, but I eventually stopped before beating the last level. I actually just got fed up with playing it, because in general, physics games annoy the hell out of me. I rather enjoy a good puzzle, but since there are a ton of calculations going into physics, the chances of ever getting the exact same set of variables drops considerably as the puzzles become more complex.
It reminds me of when I was playing Tumble Drop on my phone, and I kept just failing at a level. I performed essentially the same actions again, and it worked fine. :| I have no idea if I actually pressed something 50ms faster that time or whatever.
I guess it makes more sense if I say that I prefer static puzzles, and it looks like Trine 2 sort of has these in the form of some of the environment-based puzzles.
