just kidding about the topic summary....
We (as in ninjja and I) have decided to go to Japan in the middle of may to the first week of june (3 weeks). we are incredibly excited since this is our first trip out there and we both have an unhealthy obsession with the culture there.
i think our primary focus is to take in as much of traditional japan as possible. we are obviously not going to ignore tokyo and the like. in fact, our plane lands at narita and we'll be spending the first half of the trip around tokyo and places north of there. then i thought we would travel south to osaka and kyoto and visit places around there.
we're also going to take some courses at the japan society to learn some japanese for the trip. any and all help/advice/suggestions on places to go/things to eat/ppl to meet would be HUGELY appreciated! i think we're going to get a JR Pass for the trip so we should be pretty flexible to see anything that can be accessed by train.
on an awesome side note, we stopover in LA on the first day of E3. sadly, our stopover is only for 2 hours so i can't go to the convention. such a tease
