Would love some advice from anybody here who is running dual GTX 670 2GB setup to run 3 monitors.
Setup:
EVGA GTX 670 FTW 2 GB connected to 3 Samsung SyncMaster S27B550 27" monitors via dvi-hdmi cables. (monitors only have hdmi inputs or vga). I have 2 monitors connected to card 1 dvi out and the 3rd monitor connected the same way to card 2, per the NVIDIA preferred setup diagram.
Using NVIDIA control panel, I am able to span all three displays and things look amazing. However, when I game I have the following problems:
1. Star Trek Online looks great on primary center monitor and stretched on peripheral monitors. Have to play it "windowed" to get FPS < 60 in 5760x1080 with highest settings. Slow in non-windowed mode.
2. theHunter runs at max settings spanned, but options interface is stretched and the cursor cannot be seen to select options. Initial in-game view is stretched across all monitors, alt-tabbing out a couple times fixes the middle screen, yet the side screens are stretched.
3. Battlefield 3 absolutely will not run in a spanned configuration. Game locks and I have to restart the computer so I miss seeing any error codes. I am really wanting this game to work most of all.
I have seen several posters stating they have the same setup or close to it and are running games with no problems. I'm sure it is just some minor tweak I'm missing. At least I hope so. Haven't gotten any helpful feedback from the EVGA forums. Hoping somebody here will have some idea that might help.
Thanks in advance
