triple monitor setup

Hi all-
I have a matrox G400 Max dual monitors running on Win 2K Pro using the AGP slot. Anyone know if I can add a PCI video card to get triple monitors. My guess is that it won't work except if maybe I get a PCI Matrox G450 it might work. I couldn't find anything on the Matrox site.

Any info would be much appreciated-

it shouldn't be any problem. you are still only using 2 cards, despite the fact that the matrox is dual-head, and windows should support it as such with ANY pci card as the secondary card.

Is there anyone running such a setup? I am wondering if there will be problems with maximizing windows or spanning a window across two monitors.

Why would you need 3 monitors? I find 2 monitors plenty. But three?!!? :Q Someone please explain.

I suppose for a more concentrated following of matrox users, you could ask that question on the matrox hardware forum at matroxusers.com.
AFAIK it should be possible!

You won't have any problems at all with a setup like that. I've setup several systems with 4 monitors using various combinations of video cards w/o a problem.

EDIT-- window placement won't be any different with 3 monitors, you just have more space
