I upgraded my Motherboard, cpu and ram last month. Yesterday I was adding a SATA cable to install a 2nd hard drive and after I was done when I went to start my computer it wouldn't post. All the fans would spin, motherboard status lights were on like normal, but no video would come up. The motherboard has no speaker, so no error code that I can tell.
Now the strange thing is that sometimes it WILL boot up and when it does it runs fine in windows, but if I restart the machine it will do the same thing over again and not boot. It seems totally random when it will boot. I've tried alternating the video cards, unplugging all unnecessary components and nothing seems to help.
Why it would randomly start up fine is really strange and frustrating to me.
The other thing I did was unplug everything from my motherboard and plug it into my old board and it started up just fine. So I'm thinking it has to be the new cpu, motherboard or ram. One of the times it did boot I did go into the BIOS and run the built in memory test it has and it passed, so I don't know.

Intel i5 2500k cpu
GTX 260 sli
Corsair HX1000 psu
8GB gskill DDR3 1600 ram
Crucial M4 128GB SSD
