This Computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing this software.
This is the error my friend gets while attempting to install the software while in Windows. Yesterday, originally he had installed windows without using the driver disk Intel provided, and everything was fine and dandy, except that his optical drive was stuck in PIO mode, and ran infuriatingly slow.
I had a similar problem when I first picked up my Foxconn board, but installing the RAID driver off my motherboard cd took 3 seconds and I was all set. It seems like he isn't so lucky. We assumed if he just started over with another fresh install, this time installing the RAID drivers off the floppy at the beginning of his OS setup, there'd be no problems, but again, he can't install the drivers in windows, and his drive is again stuck in PIO mode.
Where are we going wrong? Or is the board simply screwed up in some way, warranting a return?
His new System:
Intel BLKDG965WHMKR
E6300
2 Gigs GSkill (2x1GB)
eVGA 7950GT KO 512
WinXP Pro SP2
