Trouble sending iMessages from iPhone 5 w/iOS7

Is anyone else having trouble sending iMessages?

I am using an iPhone 5 w/iOS7.

This just started for me yesterday.

I'm having trouble with both iMessages and SMS. iPhone 5, iOS 7.0.0 (i haven't updated to 7.0.2).

SMS works fine here on Fido on the iPhone 4.

Yes, I started getting this after updating to 7.0.2. iMessages will get stuck at 90-95% percent.
Has happened to me 3 times so far, rebooting the phone fixes it for a while.

Yeah, it gets almost to the end, then stops forever.

Funny you should mention this. I've been having trouble sending iMessages and SMS on my iPhone 4S over the last two days. Running iOS 6.1.2. Never had any trouble up until now.

Resetting Network Settings May Fix iMessages Not Working in iOS 7

1. Turn off iMessage in Settings > Messages
2. Reset networking settings in Settings > General > Reset
3. Reenable iMessage in Settings > Messages

Same here with an iPhone 5 except I'm still on 7.0.0. Was able to force messages through via SMS, toggling iMessage didn't work, had to reboot to get iMessage to send again.

this should work but it's quite annoying to be prompted for password for each and every wi-fi you use...

I did this one a few days ago, and it happened again today. Rebooting the phone works just as well and doesn't lose any wifi settings. (Just as well meaning it will fix the immediate issue and work for a couple of days before it breaks again.)

The reboot fix has worked for me.

Yesterday, my wife mentioned that she was having the same problem. I rebooted her phone and the problem went away.

I am not having this problem on my iPhone 5 with iOS 7.0.2 on Fido network.

Over the weekend I saw a number of articles acknowledging this is a widespread issue and that, allegedly, Apple is working on it.

for the time being, a couple reboots later, I am not having the problem. My wife still has it from time to time, but she is learning to wait until it is confirmed that the iMessage has been sent.

Rebooting my iphone is the only way to alleviate this issue for me.

Happening for my gf as well. I haven't noticed it but only send a handful of iMessage messages to anyone else.

She just turned off iMessage since we have unlimited texts anyways. Apple acknowledged the issue and it should be fixed in a patch.

There's a known iMessage problem with iOS7. Apple is trying to fix it.

What I'm saying is that the reboot fix doesn't work. I followed the fix and the problem came back. Wait for Apple to fix it.
