Trouble with dual HD formats on NFS-7

I cannot get windows to recognize my 120gb seagage SATA HD. It shows up in the sata raid boot screen and in device manager there is no problem with the driver, i just cannot seem to make a volume on it. My main HD now is ide, is this what the problem is? Can they co-exist? Thanks in advance for the help!

Have you installed the driver for the video card?

i dont think you understand my problem. I am not trying to install windows, im trying to make my current install recognize the harddrive as a legitimate volume. I can do everything else in windows just fine.

Go to abits website, download the latest drivers for the ata controller, then after you install those, alternate click on my computer, then go to manage and then the logical disk manager. hope this helps

If you are using a single SATA drive, you should not be using the raid controler. Disable SATA raid in your BIOS.
