Troubles pushing a route with openVPN

I have openVPN setup on an ubuntu server box. I can connect to this device and we can ping back and forth, but I can't get out to the LAN(192.168.101.0) that the openVPN server is attached to.

I have a line in server.conf that says
push "192.168.101.0 255.255.255.0"

when I type route on the openVPN server box, it says

Any ideas what is blocking the connection here?

What does the routing table look like on the host you're trying to connect with on the openVPN side?

If it doesn't have a route back to your remote workstation through the openVPN server, it's not going to know where to send a return packet.

Doh, that was my problem. I needed to route that subnet on the remote gateway back to the openvpn server. Thanks!
