kinda strange how 'they want' an internationally respected banker to negotiate with instead of a career politician who's only real job was as a paper boy....Carney would walk all over the dumbasses that would be sent to negotiate, little pp would love nothing better than to be walked over

Well, this is the first time I've seen the claim that people are trying to run Teslas off the road.

Over the years things have degraded, at least here in Canada but I assume the states is similar as we have lot of similar issues and I see them all the time in both countries. Cost of living, crime, drugs, mass immigration... These are some of the more major issues and just scratch the surface. Cost of living and crime are probably the two biggest ones as they directly impact quality of life.

Conservatives want to stop all this madness and bring the country back to it's former glory. Imagine a family being able to survive on just one income in a nice house on a nice property that they own, not have to worry about being broken into or assaulted, and just living the dream while having tons of disposable income left over. That's what we want to go back to. But liberals don't want that because it's racist and nazi, or something.

Trump is doing lot of good right now such as mass deportations and eliminating gross waste in government. I don't understand why leftists like to pay taxes so much and see the money constantly wasted. There's even talk of eliminating income tax for anyone making under 150k once they balance the budget. Imagine having your pay cheque practically double overnight. I am jealous of Americans right now, because we're probably getting another liberal government after 10 years of it and cost of living, crime, immigration is all going to stay and keep going up. The liberals hardly even talk about those issues, they don't care. Even Carney's carbon tax stunt, it's nothing but a stunt. The tax is just being renamed. The conservatives have been calling for axing that forever, they could have done it any time, but they chose to do it before the election. They will keep copying conservative playbook items in order to get votes and people are too dumb to see through it. OR maybe not... we will have to wait for the election to find out but polls don't look good.

The Elon salute was a really dumb move by him and I can't deny that, what can I say he can do dumb stuff sometimes, and that was one of those times. I have not seen anything about him trying to deny the holocaust but I cannot agree with him on any of that either. Some people seem to think we were lied to about the history surrounding that, and even if that's was partially true it does not deny the fact that the holocaust was a horrible thing. Bottom line is not all right wing people think this way, so it's dumb to put everybody in the same group and I see this all the time. Like people are now saying anyone who owns a tesla is a nazi and setting their cars on fire or trying to run them off the road and encouraging others to do it. The left love violence and destruction of property and love to see people they don't agree with be in hardship.

At the end of the day, all the right want is to be left alone. That also means their pockets. We want lower taxes, and less government interfeerence in our lives. Seeing government waste and burocracy get dismantled from the inside is a step towards that.

There is lot of good happening that people are also either not seeing or looking past. For example they are looking at removing lot of the restrictive rules around diesels. On it's own, maybe it's not a big deal to many, but those restrictions are one of many instances of the government getting in people's way. We want to eliminate all of that. Just let people live their lives without interference. That's really the jist of what making a country great again means. Going back to simpler and better times.
When was this time period?
What decade?

What country?

Also,
What was the tax structure and economic data that support your assertion?

What data are you relying on in regards to crime rates?

What aspects of modern standards of living are you willing to sacrifice?

This decade in Canada, the data is everywhere including actual real world experiences, which is the most important data. Talk to people affected by this stuff. We don't need to sacrifice much, we just need a better government. One that is smaller, but that focuses on the key issues. Less taxes and a much more simplified tax structure would go a long way to help too but it only solves part of the issue by reducing one of the biggest cost of living we face, but all the other costs of living need to be brought down too otherwise it would only help temporarily. An easy way to lower taxes would be for the government to simply spend less. Cut out all foreign aid, as a start and cut out any other aid program, if our COL are lower none of that aid should be needed in first place.

If you don't actually believe things are worse then you've been living under a rock or are very privileged. Or just out of touch. Just scratching the surface real quick on some of the major issues.

Crime is much worse, you just need to look around to see it. Businesses with broken windows, people having their vehicles stolen, broken into etc, more people getting assaulted etc. This is not a secret. Talk to people, get out, you will quickly find this stuff out.

Even very liberal CBC admits to crime being an issue:

This is focusing more on violent crime but you get the idea. A simple solution to this is simply allowing people to defend themselves and their property from criminals. But also, put criminals in jail. It's often a very small number of people doing all the crime, they are just repeat offenders.

Then there's cost of living. It has always been getting worse ever since inflation became a thing, but in the past 10 years it has really ramped up. Anyone who is not affected by this is very privileged with a very high end paying job or managed to get lot of promotions over the years. Not everyone is so lucky, especially younger people just trying to get started at life. For many, the idea of home ownership is now a pipe dream.

Even CBC talks about this: https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/canada-gdp-per-capita-rich-1.7318989

You know it's bad when the CBC admits it. They try to sugar coat it but the reality is it's bad. People are poorer now, than before, and that's what matters. Not compared to other countries but compared to us before.

Then there is the immigration issue, it's completely out of control.

Even the government is finally realizing and reducing the numbers, but they're still very high.

The immigration is also affecting the price of housing, just to add insult to injury.

I'm fine, I already have my house, I bought in 2009 when housing and COL was cheaper, but I do feel bad for those who are just trying to get one now.

These 3 issues only scratch the surface of how things have declined in the past 10 or so years. Crime, Cost of living and Immigration are probably some of the more major issues we face. Let's not forget about drugs, especially fentanyl. But we'll classify that under crime.

The liberals hardly even talk about these things, they sometimes touch on housing but so far all they've done is spent 82 billion without improving the situation.

They've also spent billions on homelessness, without solving it. That's what Liberals do, spend money, solve nothing. We pay for it.

Speaking of spending this speaks for itself:

That's just debt. So despite all the taxes we pay, they *STILL* manage to go into this much debt! Gross incompetence at best, but probably also lot of corruption. Where is all that money going and who is getting rich off it?

Orange monkey has no plans to be allies with Canada. So obviously he’s rather have opposing party to argue with than a conservative pushing back on him about being a 51st state

Now go through and remove things that weren't categorized as a violent crime in 2013 but are now. There's some really interesting ones that might clear this right up for you.

Not like that, but I have seen Win/Loss at the end of an Election where they were expected to do the opposite at the beginning.

Maybe this is why Pierre didn't want to be briefed on Foreign Interference
