Trump’s own bankruptcy lawyers say he lies so much they could only meet with him in pairs

And I'm not shocked.

In one document, bankruptcy attorney George Miller reveals that when meeting with Trump, “it’s always been our practice to make sure that two people are present, and we don’t have a problem with people lying.”

Miller calls Trump “an expert at interpreting things. Let’s put it that way.”

“We tried to [meet in pairs] with Donald always if we could because Donald says certain things and then has a lack of memory,” he says in the deposition.

Shocked that attorneys would send two people so they could charge twice the billable hours? You must surprise easily then.

Weak diversion. You're claiming his lawyers lied under oath so they could bill more hours? Or is it more likely that Trump is indeed a liar, which he has shown time and again?

so did he lie about building a wall?

or is he lying about mexico paying for it?

Funny thing is I would bet Trump could get Mexico to pay for said wall. Apparently we only need to give 30 (or 90) days notice to exit NAFTA. This would be a very powerful incentive for Mexico to pay it would require hard ball that would likely have unexpected consequences but I'd be willing to bet Mexico would pay somehow.

So you're saying Trump was so easily duped that he didn't notice his attorneys scamming him in that way? Come on. Also, from my experience with lawyers meeting with the client represents a small fraction of billed hours so they would be exposing themselves to bar sanction or legal action by a notoriously litigious and vindictive person for a minimal financial gain. Why would they do that?

Does it count as getting Mexico to pay for the wall when the economic consequences to the US from a trade war would outstrip the cost of building the wall by several orders of magnitude? This is what Trump and his supporters don't seem to get, he's basically saying he's going to instigate mass trade wars with basically all of our trading partners to get 'better deals'. What possibly makes him think they will go along with this? What makes him think our partners won't immediately become wise to this tactic and act collectively to bury us? Other countries aren't stupid.

I mostly get the sense that he has put next to no thought into the consequences of what he's saying and is too ignorant/incompetent to analyze the situation in a comprehensive way.

I didn't say it was a good idea...

Why would anyone just mouth off and lie like that? There must be some rational explanation for his behavior, which I'm sure glenn & friends will research and uncover.

Correct. He'll use the taxes earmarked for the wall to build a big statue of himself and pay for these lawyers.

he'd be further ahead to scrap the statue of liberty and use that money to build his wall or statue.

nvm...

only ~1 mill in copper. it's only copper plated.

TIL.

Let's see here....weasel? nah....skunk?....meh.....snake?....ehhhh, mebbee....used car saleman in Somalia?....too high up in the food chain.....uhhh, two-timing chizzler?......wayyy above his character....

Well, I give up. I guess Trump is soooo special, a new designation needs to be created in the binomial order of things, but I personally think he belongs somewhere between a Amazonian slug and a sea lamprey.

By your description, Donald sounds like a Clinton.

Might as well pile on here. Seems op research is yielding results. Or reporters are actually doing investigative journalism. This is getting easy. There so much out there.

http://www.nbcnews.com/politics/201...velations-no-surprise-past-associates-n658326

When Sebastian Pignatello saw the news that Donald Trump had declared a loss of $916 million in 1995, potentially allowing him to legally avoid paying federal income taxes for close to two decades, the retired Queens investor wasn't surprised. As a shareholder in the Trump Hotels and Casino Resorts, Pignatello had a front row seat to the many ways in which he says Trump used the legal and corporate landscape for his own benefit, almost always at the expense of everyone else's.

Nah, Clinton is also in a class all her own that isn't anything like Trump.

You see, Trump leaves a trail of slime behind him, whereas Hillary leaves neat little poop pellets not unlike a wascowee wabbit would.

That right there makes all the difference in the world, because Trump's slippery slime is eagerly lapped up by his followers and then sanitized by his *CCC (crisis control crew) just like those folks that always cleans up a mess that Agent J and Agent K always leaves behind them, thus leaving no trace whatsoever of the slime Trump creates.

Hillary's poop pellets however, are eagerly scooped up by Republican Congressional Select Committees and thoroughly examined by a battalion of hired forensics experts and lawyers to find any speck of dirt that their Rove rats can make a mountain of mud from. These Repubs then climb to the tippy top of that mountain and scream bloody murder about what they found until they exhaust themselves stupid and then say self-incriminating things that makes that mountain of mud come crashing down on their heads......like usual.

See? Totally different critters, same habitat, but very different habits and how they're treated.

There are only two types of people who will vote for Hillary Clinton: people totally ignorant of her crimes because they still get their information from the Fake News on TV and evil people who know of her crimes and don’t care! Which one are you?”
