Wow, I can't even fathom the cognitive dissonance for your typical Fox News viewer after seeing this:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q5LftyJmNtA

This is Chris Wallace and Shepard Smith taking Trump down hard over the Trump Jr. collusion thing. This is as tough as anything on CNN. And they get it - the lies are the real problem with all of this. The underlying behavior is sleazy and possibly illegal, but the lying is probably worse.

The situation here is pretty simple. You and Shepard Smith place some value on objective reality, a rather liberal moral virtue; conservative degenerates like chucky don't, which is rather why they're degens.

"Cognitive dissonance" assumes the former, and that's just an invalid assumption for many people for whom the term simply doesn't apply.

Reading this i am sure that you do not know what CD is.

You are confusing opinion with facts.

It's not my fault you insist on being as smart as degens pretend to be dumb. There's a basic context to the players involved and the emails show the details of their interaction, and it doesn't take much brains to read that situation.

No, Akhmetshin said it was DNC financials data, and "said he does not know if Veselnitskaya’s documents were provided by the Russian government." But consider the situation at hand. It was a meeting with 8+ people there incl an envoy from russia, and your take is that this was set up over nothing to dupe Trump, putting the valuable Agalarov-Trump relationship in peril over nothing. You're literally assuming the russians are about as smart as the pair just mentioned.

Per Ahkmetsin-

It quickly became clear that she had no meaningful information.

You brought him into the discussion as a Gish gallop & now try to discredit him so as to sustain conspiracy theory.

The big take away is that Jr was down for collusion, whether he actually received anything useful in the meeting, or not. That alone condemns him. Speculation & innuendo extending from that merely obfuscates the craven nature of what occurred.

Christ you're dumb. The lawyer is not there to do a show and tell presentation, she's the courier for the docs as mentioned multiple times. Docs important enough that they can't just be faxed or mailed over. He doesn't know what's in the docs, because it's not meant for him.

A brilliant move on trump/gop part would be appoint someone dumb as you to head the investigation. Liberal credentials, but far too goddamn stupid to figure anything out.

Mere assumption as to the content of the docs. It's jumping to conclusions.

You seem woefully unaware of what was leaked about Flynn back in February which, in turn, was why Trump had to fire him. It was because he lied to the press and to Mike Pence about his conversation with the Russian ambassador, and the Russians knew he lied, which compromised him. Being compromised by a foreign power is not really something we want for our NSA, the person who has more access to classified intel than anyone save the POTUS. IT strikes me as a serious issue. Yet the only comment I heard from the right was about catching that dirty leaker. I think the right seems confused about when the end justifies the means and when it does not. Confused and befuddled about morality in general.

This still bothers me. Flynn never lied to Pence. Pence knew everything, because he was there when the campaign/transition team was informed about Flynn. Pence knew everything. The story about Flynn lying to Pence is a fucking lie. The Obama transition team has full details on who was informed about everything that was known about Flynn and, behind door #1: we have VP Pence, the head of the Trump transition team.

So this is the story that the administration is left with:
--lying about what Pence knew, and when he knew it
--Pence is completely incompetent

If only Pence had admitted story #1 before Congress (he didn't right?), then he, too, would be swept up in perjury.

Only the best people, only the best administration. MAGA!

Shep has always been one of the very few honest brokers @Fox. Surprised they haven't fired him long ago.

maybe he's that one nerd in the frat that the other mouth breathers keep around to boost the ave GPA to keep them all above the minimum and retain their status?

Sure, Agalarov/Putin went to all that trouble to f with Trump and sink any future relationship, because they're as dumb as you.

We don't know what Emin thought. We only know what Goldstone said. Veselnitskaya may have been puffing it up all along.

And if you're so convinced that Jr got dirt from the Russians, what was it? All the dirt they used was published on Wikileaks.

The Russian side of this can be covered by stupid shit happens. That doesn't cover Jr.

Interesting story from Thursday that just caught my eye. Mueller's team is up to 25(!!) and they're being moved OUT of the Justice Dept to a secure office building that contains a SCIF(Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility ). Such facilities are designed to handle top secret and classified data in such a manner that it can't be hacked, snooped upon etc. I can only imagine the sorts of things they're looking at if they need their own top secret facility to investigate.

Please do tell what it is, and why my interpretation is in any way incorrect.

CD is something that actually happened and people are denying it.. if i say water is wet and you say it is not then you are in CD.

But what others here are doing is interrupting what actually happened and giving their analysis on it.

people may put on a liberal or conservative view on it depending what they feel is important or not.

what i disagree with you on is the importance of why would DTJ have a reason to talk to a Russian lawyer about dirt on his Dad's competition.

That is a shit move by DTJ and opens Pandora's box for all kinds of reasonable speculation.

SIGINT and/or information that is so sensitive it would identify the source would be the guess of me, internet expert.

Makes perfect sense you get played by "dumb" conservatives every single time. Emin is a nobody outside Aras Agalarov's son, you know putin's oligarch buddy; same as Jr is a nobody outside Trump's son. Jr isn't calling with a nobody about russian intel, he's calling to meet Aras's people. Veselnitskaya is just there because she's a trusted asset to deliver state intel docs, and happened to be traveling from moscow to ny at the intended time of the meeting. You can tell she's state-attached because she's not on Aras's staff, but literally works for russian state-related legal interests. Unlike your mind, her's is not so mush as to try not only duping Trump but also screwing somebody like Agalarov by using his name/staff and relationship, AND Putin by pretending this is a state intel operation. At the meeting, they drop off the docs and talked about quid pro quo russian interests on the Magnitsky Act, presumably not the part dealing with adoptions but the one that froze Russian financial assets.

Let's hope Mueller has competent thinkers working on this and not the likes of you.

But the part of this thread that's even funnier than Jhhnn apologizing for the russians is chucky screwing up the alibi. He's supposed to blame it on clinton/obama, same as the other shill @Starbuck1975, but tried working his own angle on it. Where he rationalizes colluding with russian state intel because trump is the underdog to clinton. That's not a legal defense but a confession, dumbass.

No, the degens already know the Trumps are guilty as shit as evidenced by them literally confessing to the crime for him.

yup, and considering that so many anonymous sources have verified that there are quite a few international IC agencies, including Five Eyes, that have recordings related to Russiagate, a SCIF is a necessity.

I can't even begin to fathom how massive the revelations are going to be. Watergate is going to be child's play in comparison

Aaaand the 8th :

http://edition.cnn.com/2017/07/15/politics/who-is-rinat-akhmetshin/index.html

"Rinat Akhmetshin"

"Akhmetshin's lobbying has made him a player in DC, and a Foreign Agent Registration Act (FARA) complaint filed against him, as picked up by Grassley, has alleged that his lobbying went beyond what was disclosed and was conducted as a foreign agent on behalf of the Russian government."

"A staffer on the House Foreign Affairs Committee was concerned when Akhmetshin showed up at one of their hearings last year, according to an internal email obtained by Politico. The staffer's email described Akhmetshin as a former spy who "specializes in active measures campaigns." "

"In 2015, a mining company registered in the Netherlands, International Mineral Resources, accused Akhmetshin in a lawsuit of "organizing the hacking" of its computer systems and "searching for specific information" on behalf of a Russian fertilizer-producer company."

"He added that his previous work has included running a pro-democracy organization in Washington, consulting a government of a former Soviet territory as well as the "surveillance of undercover agents and suspected undercover agents.""
