Trump did him a massive favour by saying that the US wants him, that made Sweden decide not to have him arrested if he should leave the grounds of the Ecuadorian embassy.
He will still be arrested if he ever does and as long as he stays there the charges remain, indefinitely because they are renewed by day.
We'll extradite him to Sweden if the statue of limitations has not passed at that time as it has for his other crimes he was charged with.
