We're sanctioning Russia (before our election), that's not a threat to Russia, that's an actual action. Bummer wanted to F with Russia, and Russia F'd him back. Given that these Pols DGAF about the country, it's themselves first, party second, how did that work out for Bummer and the Dems?

I've said before in previous threads I'd like to see the US take the lead in a secure deployable voting system, and this really doesn't change my opinion of that at all. I think we should push for that, and then push it at the UN. Many of these countries could benefit from something like that.

As for Russia going after info about US Politicans? LOL, so? You don't think we do the same thing? News at 11, NSA and CIA obtain info on Russian Politcians! One prefers single malt over vodka, you'll be shocked to learn which one!

Something doesn't make sense regarding this story. If Trump Jr's 3rd( or was it forth) account is accurate, why would the Russian lawyer lie in order to secure a meeting with Trump Jr? Surely after realizing the reason for the meeting was a lie, Trump Jr. and co. would be upset and not be as receptive to her advocacy. The question becomes, in that case what was she willing to offer in order for them to listen to what she had to say after they found out she was initially lying? And this lady seems to be a smart/adept lawyer/advocate for the Kremlin.

Personally I think it's because the Reps really don't want to support Trump any more than not having Billary elected (and a lot of them are in the Billary camp anyways due to richie rich ownership sharing with her). Got to wonder how much behind the scenes Trump can really trust the Rep establishment...I bet it ain't much...

Nothing so far, or, are we at the actual something stage yet? Also...

Imagine if just prior to your marriage, your wife said to you that she adamantly never met any male strippers prior to your wedding.Then you later find out she did definitely meet with a couple of male strippers prior to your wedding, in a strip club where cameras were not allow. well, we have a family of known con artists (..I don't think artist is the right word...circus barkers, maybe?) that have consistently lied, several times, about these instances, telling a new story each time...what do you call that? Is there a there there? I think so. Do you?

Are you still stuck on Butter emails, though? Not yet to move onto real investigations with ever-growing piles of evidence? You're more interested in theater and bluster, eh? But honestly, and take this as a hypothetical: what happens to your world if the incontrovertible weight of evidence turned up by the investigation shows the Trump family having worked with the Russians to obtain and disseminate illegally-acquired information? what caught my ear this morning is the detail from the Trump lawyer/spokesrabbits about the "27 minute-long meeting" ...an awful precise detail about the length of a meeting that:

--never happened
--oh, was actually about adoptions
--oh, was actually about dirt on hillary, but there was nothing interesting
--oh, those people weren't actually there
--oh, they were, but they didn't do anything.

etc etc. ..it seems the lawyers were involved very early on or, at the very least, someone was taking some very detailed notes. At the very best (from Trump's perspective), it tells me that they knew this was bad going in, thought about covering their asses, because they were going in anyway.
