That's close. We can make the government do whatever we want within the confines of the constitution. The U.S. is a constitutional republic, a narrower category of democracy.

Oh you are now back to this? When Trump won you were all for us being a democracy but as soon as the people want something we aren’t.

Btw the constitution, you clearly have never read, says Congress shall provide for the common defense and general welfare of the United States. That’s article 1 section 8 clause 1. That’s also the clause that gives Congress the right to tax.


This is what we are up against people. A populace that doesn’t even know what the guiding principal of our government is. A populace clueless of the brainwashing they’ve been put through. A populace who votes against their best wishes because they think that’s what real patriots do.

We don't need impeachment trials.. we need to survive.

And hopefully there are enough senators who've insider traded enough to want to keep their own portfolio intact and not crash the economy too much.

I think greenman is going ot find out how worthless the consitution is when it comes to a party/Trump who intends to ignore it. Honor, honesty, morals, and integrity are the basic requirements to ensure the constitution is followed and enforced, which non are present in Trump's world.
