Probably an artifact of being in highly conservative Tennessee, but I've seen it just the opposite. Hillary voters are ashamed of it, never volunteer it until they are sure I'm not going to attack them for it, and not at all enthused, almost universally expressing a desire to have a different candidate. Trump voters on the other hand are universally proud of it - even those who hasten to assure that they don't like Trump or have "some problems" with him - and usually volunteer that information without being asked. My wife just made a trip to Gatlinburg and back, and the whole trip saw exactly one Hillary sticker and hundreds of Trump stickers.
But as I said, that's Tennessee, and it's an extremely conservative states. Support for gay marriage almost universally made people look at me like I'd grown a second head (and not an attractive one either) right up until it happened. Even my gay friend (all right, I actually have two just in case something happens to Ken) said it could never happen in his lifetime just a week or so before it happened. So . . . not a particularly representative state.
