It's about time. Meritocracy is winning again thanks to the Donald. No more admissions based on skin color, only GPA/test scores for people who actually earned it. Harvard is about to learn the hard way once the lawsuit is over that they can't discriminate against Asians. Sorry Obama, but another one comes off the books for your "legacy".

You haven't shown that to be the case at all. Harvard accepts less than 5% of applicants. If you think there's a significant difference in test scores among that 5% you're out of your mind.

So why is Ted Lieu complaining? Why isn't he given responses by Harvard? Here's some transparency from MIT i.e. MIT had overall acceptance rate of 12% in 2007 but over 30% for blacks.

You can standardize the environment for same ability, whites would then do even better. Affirmative action isn't the only stupid law on the books in US, disparate impact is far stupider than that and allows blacks of lower ability to live in a better environment than whites of same ability.

If the factors(socioeconomic and parental education) used for explaining black 'underperformance' became the criteria for affirmative action, you'd get way less blacks than now.
