I wasn't the one who brought up Japan

lol
No you said it was due to population density. Now you are still ignoring that the US is 145th in population density and almost every other country with higher density handled the response better. So now it’s the culture of Japan. Since I mentioned it as a country with higher density that fared so much better. Now do the other 100 whatever other countries on why they did so much better . Eventually you’ll have nothing left but country leadership. .

Sometimes to protect the public, the best course of action is to withhold information. This of course assumes that you are diligently working towards a solution or have a plan in place. You can’t wing a pandemic, although given Woodward’s standing as a journalist, you have to wonder Trump’s intent in disclosing such insights.
Trump is a fool. It will be a monumental task putting this nation back together after he's removed from office.

PSA: don't feed the trolls.

Again. My opinion is no matter who the POTUS is the numbers wouldn't change. Just looking at the H1N1 numbers for proof. 10 times the number infected.

Back up your claim! Your opinion is completely based on your feels which is why you are having a laughably hard time in this discussion!

Is he now trying to say that less densely populated countries did worse? Finland and Norway might want to have a talk with him.
He doesn't realize the job in defending Trump. It requires jettisoning your integrity and tying your brain into knots justifying all the dumb shit he does.

Well he's doing a good job of removing all his integrity and it certainly doesn't look like he's using his brain either.

While I tend to believe the basic premise of the story...Trump his the seriousness of the WuFlu from everyone...I have a difficult time believing he would admit to a reporter ANYTHING that might make him look bad.

There's an audio clip of Trump talking about it, though. Even the White House isn't denying it. They're saying 'well, he did so little because he didn't want to cause a panic.'

He's literally on tape doing this, so there is nothing to dispute unless you're going to insist nothing Trump said makes him look bad. (Basically Trump sometimes ends up saying stuff which ends up incriminating him.)

Trump gave Woodward 18 interviews. Theory is Trump thought he could snow him into a favorable writeup. Woodward has been around too long for that.

Step 1: be right-wing authoritarian.
Step 2: be unable to make argument without official talking points
Step 3: blame someone else for not being able to make argument without official talking points
Step 4: GoTo Step 1
Failed you too?

Right. Nevertheless, the infection rate was 10 times covid19.
Seriously? Its death rate didn't justify lock downs or widespread social distancing. We've had multiple worse flu years since 2009.

Also, you are comparing the ending number from population survey estimates and comparing to it an actual tested number of an on going event. This is like the people talking about how more people died from scissor accidents than COVID back in late Feb.
