Good point-it wasn't simply a matter of a verbal promise either-it was a formal written and signed document by all the parties involved in Afgan War. If Biden did delay as Trump (in retrospect now wanted) he would have had to breach the explicit terms of the agreement Trump negotiated and agreed to. As I recall Biden did ask for a delay, which delay was rejected by the Taliban.He did a lot more than just promise.
