I was reading on Facebook one of the posts from a woman where it said something to the effect of "where are all of the guys complaining about Trump's actions, why does it only seem like women are upset" and thinking many of the guys I have known over the years have said similar or far worse things in certain company, so I can presume they don't want to be called out as hypocritical by their buddies online.

It will be interesting to see how tonights debate goes, I am sure there will be a good number of questions focused on Trumps behavior.

What is a definite is that Billy Bush's career is over with Today, guessing after the Roker incident they were looking for a way to fire the guy and this gives them a perfect opportunity.

I also think all of those calling for Trump to drop out will just further embolden him so that isn't happening.This may be the first election where we have record low turnout as I can't see folks turning out to vote for Hillary if they decide not to vote for Trump.

Look through my posts. You will find maybe 5 times in my 11000 posts that I've commented on political issues. I read many different threads here when I get bored. Particularly while on the crapper. I didn't even know about the audio except for reading this thread. My tv is on maybe 5 hours in a week. 3 hours of that being the Cowboys game on Sunday and 2 hours on Netflix. Neither of those talk politics. Honestly most weeks it's probably 2 hours tv total except for 16 weeks where I add 3 hours a week for football. You can believe what you want.

They co-opted existing moral concepts ( poorly ) and tried to claim them as unique. The social constructs of morality predated the organized religions by thousands of years.

I have an axe to grind with SNLive.
SNL does satire and have on occasion done satire quite well.
But satire over this Trump assault against women has crossed the line.
That wasn't funny. Nor to be made fun of.
Frankly, SNL was pretty shocking and disrespectful towards women and I'm surprised it's members agreed to go along with this skit.
And this is not a case of wimpy politically correctness, this was quite insulting and humiliating for many women. And hopefully for most husbands and fathers as well.

SNL can make funny of disgusting Donald Trump, but women that go through this type of assault at home and in the workplace, for them this was not funny.
Assault against women is very real.
This was not funny. Rape is not funny. Any man beating a woman unconscious is not funny. A husband murdering a wife is not funny.

Hmm.. Actually there is probably more ethical philosophy out there stating morals generally come out of either natural law or as human manifestations of ideal law/concepts and subsequently religion really more grew around that. (It's odd how religion (if derived from universal ideal beings) is so oddly specific about things like "don't covet thy neighbor's wife". It's like having a line that says "And God says don't covet thy neighbor's Tesla or thy neighbors Grillmaster 4000")

What people seem to be missing from all this, Trump had already married and was married to current wife Melania when trump boasted of groping, kissing and screwing other women.

for those on the "locker room talk" line of argument, there is a distinction to be made.
basic braggadocio is all talk no action (offensive, hyperbolic, fairly common, but inconsequential since there is no action taken)
actual sexual assault (unwanted touching) is an legal crime.
now if trump is a just a liar or so delusional that all his talk is just talk, that is one thing.
but given there is evidence of actions taken that support the charge of serial touching/kissing/groping, it is something more serious.

also there are reports that there is unused video from the apprentice boardroom scenes where trump is equally "inappropriate" when talking to the contestants(nothing criminal but very wtf). there are likely throngs of reporters circling the mark burnett production offices.
