This is some-what transient to the thread but still relevant:

One of the reason why trump is so successful is that those on the right are more likely to believe 'bullshit' as truthism. There was a recent survey of Twitter (sometimes called X by a certain idiot) current users; and while most people to the left found a lot of the statement funny or conspiracy; those on the right though they were genuine news posts. I.e, post random bullshit and those on the right think it is breaking news !

I guess this supports an ill-advised but somewhat factual statement by a former presidential candidate that many on the rights (and most of Trump's supporters) are genuine morons.

Trump makes Bush Jr. seem like a Yale scholar. I know Bush went there, but that was 100% his father's doing. Trump probably really does believe in his peabrain that he doesn't need any more people who'll vote for him. I know the polls are claiming he'll win by a landslide, but common sense says they're wrong. His MAGAs think they're a huge majority and blame Biden winning on Biden cheating because he got an impossible number of votes. The latest MAGA conspicery is Biden's new 37% approval rating is about 30% too high. They believe Joe has a 7% approval rating lol.

So Trump will say that dumb shit now, but when he ends up losing, it won't be "gee, maybe I shouldn't have said I didn't need more votes" it'll be "Biden stole the election again!"

That man was our president, and at least according to the polls will win again. Even tho I don't think he has a real shot, he's going to do well and still get millions and millions of votes. That shit is truly depressing.
