Well, you just had to know this was coming ...

The former president posted to Truth Social on Sunday that his legal team "will be immediately asking for recusal of this judge on very powerful grounds."

AFAIK recusal would be up to the judge herself. Why would she want to do that? She has the opportunity to save America from destruction, and she may well be up to the task if the jury doesn't blow it.

waiting for the judge to revoke Trumps bail because of his threats and have him stay in jail till trial
They will for some reason create a few red lines for him to cross first. But, he's not getting special treatment, oh no.

They need to lock this asshole up. He's basically ignoring the judge. Again with the witness intimidation, the promoting of stochastic terrorism, it's all Biden's fault, blah blah blah...

I know his brain is a deflated Adderall fried omelette, but this has been explained to him multiple times already. He clearly has no intention of complying. Enough is enough, this conditional release nonsense for the worst traitor in our history must end.

The confidence that I’ll say/file this and it will work which in this case it didn’t work but I am sure he was totally confident it would work. The man lives moment to moment with zero regret.

It's not confidence. It's desperation. Always has been. He's never been a confident person. He's only ever been terrified that people won't like him.

Stop mistaking his pre-adolescent behavior for anything more than what it is.

Trumps plan seems pretty obvious to me. It’s to play the victim card, the more stuff (indictments, gag orders, etc) he can get piled on him the more it looks like he’s being attacked. Of course sane people understand that what’s happening is based directly on his behavior but for his cult followers it just reinforces his message. The end game is to have a violent uprising by his cult and to free him by force.

Indeed. If he was so confident he did nothing wrong, he’d be able to go to trial ASAP. This martyr act obviously working with MAGAtards. But imagine if he could win all these cases, it would attract voters instead of just losing voters.

Huh? That can't possibly happen. They saw what happened after Jan. 6, 2020. What? A couple thousand convicted already? It would be suicide to try to "free him by force." His cult knows this with few exceptions by now.

When you are as delusional as trump, you think anything is possible. When you are in a cult you will believe anything your cult leader tells you.

Of course if such a thing were to happen they’d be squashed immediately.

I echo a post or article I read elsewhere (can't remember where).

He and his lawyers know he's screwed legally.

They are quite literally going to try to goad this judge into throwing Trump in jail. Both he and his lawyers have already been flapping their gums in a very odd manner for people in their position. One of two things will happen:

- He won't be thrown in jail, so now he looks strong for defying and trolling the government
- He IS thrown in jail, so now he looks persecuted and he hopes this will let him cruise to victory in the election. And he might not be wrong. After that, he pardons himself.

I doubt anyone involved (including Trump) is dumb enough to think Jan 6 style suburban irregulars are going to come bust him out. Now, maybe he hopes he can incite a military or police coup in his name. That is the only scenario I can see where he gets out by force, and if things have gone that far, we are basically all fucked.

Yep. Judge needs to realize that Trump's delusional vanity will just cause chaos again, could lead to people getting injured and killed just like on Jan 6th. The traitor has been given multiple chances to maintain the conditions - but he chooses instead to break them. I can't think of a single defendant who has ever been given this much preferential treatment. It needs to end, yesterday. Give the delusional magat traitors a vacuum to work with, no more interviews, no more tweets to help Trump get morons riled. Watch everything go down a notch or two once Trump isn't able to invent ridiculous grievances, intimidate witnesses or call for violence.

Some bars in front of that bloated orange mug will make a fine ball gag.

Jailing likely will make him a martyr. Perhaps when he violates orders start seizing the assts of the PAC paying his legal bills. That would likely shut him up.

I think they need to issue a gag order, and then escalate the fines for every violation up to a limit and then incarcerate.

None of which will happen however.
