Can you explain what would need to change from the last election to the next that would allow trump to win?
Do you think there is now a fake electors scheme in place that can’t be thwarted? For that matter, how does trump get Kamala to certify the election with there be electors?
What demographic do you see that voted against trump, now voting for trump?
What demographic(s) do you see coming out to vote for trump that didn’t vote in the last election?
What reason do you see that would cause less than the 81 million people who voted not to vote this time?
I share your pessimism about the American electorate but unless you can explain away why the next election would give us different results than the last election, saying you aren’t hopeful isn’t logical.
Since you asked...
There seem to be more minorities willing to vote for Trump, though I mainly looked at where I am (FL). Trump won the Cuban vote and split the non-Cuban latino vote. Which to me is like roaches voting for Raid but whatever.
As usual it will probably come down to the economy, and I think the GOP and the rich will do anything they can to tank it before the vote. Who knows how things will be, and naturally I assume they'll succeed
I think overall I'm most worried about Biden's age, and how that might impact voting. Trump isn't young either, or healthy, and there's a greater-than-normal chance of a medical issue with both. Biden is older. People should correctly be thinking, who is the VP because that could very well be the President in a couple years. Is Harris going to inspire people to vote, not have an impact, or turn people off? If Trump picks another idiot like u-betcha lady, maybe I'll feel better (like that moron Kari Lake).
Flip side, abortion and some of the fascist moves by the GOP hopefully might get more younger voters out, and especially women. Maybe I *should* be more optimistic.
