US diplomats his and kills a British teenager flees from the scene. Ran out of the country claiming diplomatic immunity. Family has asked Trump for a waiver so she can be brought back. Trump not only said NO but defended the women with the following...

Trump blows it off with a "shit happens" Meanwhile a mother has lost her son from a hit and run.

I wonder if he'll feel the same way when it happens to Ivanka.

Aside from the fact that "there's a surprise person here who wants to say something to you" is shit straight from Jerry Springer, the idea of a group therapy session with grieving parents and their son's killer, led by a sociopath like Trump, is beyond whatever is beyond "beyond the pale." I guess they pictured a tearful 3-way hug while a grinning Trump gives his signature thumbs-up.

He is so accustomed to people playing along when he’s got them in his turf. And to not have to ask anyone “is this OK with you”
Just like in a recent interview last week Trump betrayed the confidence of parents receiving their son or daughter @DoverAFB killed in action. He went into detail how they react when first seeing the body of their dead children.

No that's fact. It's been my experience, that people are only capable of anything resembling empathy, after they had been affected on a personal level.
We know he wouldn't care if it happened to Tiffany. He hates her.

Plus Tiffany is playing this smart. She’s keeping out of things and living the life an extremely wealthy kid should be living.

I suspect her Model Mom was the most involved mother of the three.
I suspect the others delegated to Nannies and assistants. No proof just a feeling I have.

Yes, the woman made a mistake, but she should be accountable to her actions. We should negotiate to make sure she gets a fair trial, but at the end of the day she did take someone's life and the UK is our ally and has a respectable justice system.

A basic deficit in emotional understanding is the only explanation I can come up with here. I'm glad the Dunns were able to say no.

I used to feel sorry for her being the outcast, but in retrospect, she was blessed.

I can see where the animosity is coming from, but I don't get that the article says that they came here for the purpose of pressuring Ms Sacoolas to come back to the UK. Wouldn't that require some type of communications between them?

The couple were invited to the Oval Office on Tuesday after travelling to the US in the hope of pressuring Ms Sacoolas to return to Britain to face justice.

I too feel she should not have immunity and go back to face the charges in the UK. Either willfully or extradition to the UK.

You don't really have to meet with someone to put pressure on them. Coming to the US and appearing on multiple television shows and getting the word out that Ms Sacoolas allegedly ran over a kid and fled the country falsely claiming diplomatic immunity would count as pressuring her (at least in my opinion).

As a parent, I would have taken the opportunity to look her in the eyes and allow her to tell me to my face why she left and why she doesn't feel she should take responsibility for her actions.

Someone kills your son, a meeting with government officials is setup for you to get some justice and hidden in the next room is your son's killer and you were not told in advance. Said government official was going to push the two of you together in front of the press. You don't get THAT??

Are you trying to cover for someone AGAIN?? The parents say they were ambushed. So you side with Trump and the parents are lying??

Yep, sounds just like Trump.
Parents of killed British teen accuse White House of ambushing them with accused killer

The fix is simple.. Do the same thing we did with Guzman (aka El Chapo). Issue an international arrest warrant, place it with Interpol, and she will forever be quarantined to the US. If she leaves the country on any vacation going anywhere, the police will immediately scoop her up, and extradite her to Great Britain.

Sorry, but that isn't what I said at all.

From what I read is that he presented the opportunity by having her there and they refused to meet with her.

Ambushed is rather dramatic in my opinion.

So she didn't actually have diplomatic immunity? Wtf then, how was she able to leave? Don't people with diplomatic immunity have to show credentials to prove it?

Do you believe everything you read in Vanity Fair?

Come on dude, that story is in multiple sources. Assistant was fired for betraying trust. She's not ugly so Trump didn't trash her.

Ambushed is fair in context. They weren't told in advance and the offer was sprung on them when they were in a meeting with the President. If they had taken that meeting I suspect that Sacoolass' lawyers would say that they had a meeting and everything is resolved.
