It's good in that Tillerson was likely one of the worst Secretaries of State in the history of the country. It's bad because his replacement is probably worse.

Hillary gets my vote for worse ever Secretary of State.

May has already accused Putin of committing an offense against a NATO member. UK is considering a response in kind against Russia. As a member of NATO we are obligated to come to the defense of the UK.
America's only obligation is to America.
We don't want to be the world's free police force every other country likes having. We did that long enough and look what it got us.

You realize unnamed sources gave us watergate
You realize I've already said the following in this thread...right?

"I believe unnamed sources are fine to use in journalism, but these sources need to be corroborated and verified as having high credibility before publishing any articles based solely on this kind of sourcing imo."

So this guy is gone too:
BREAKING: Under Secretary of State Steve Goldstein is being fired for contradicting the account of Rex Tillerson’s dismissal, White House official tells @NBCPolitics - @PeterAlexander

It’s almost like the beginning of Monty Python and the Search for the Holy Grail.

Those responsible for sacking the people who have just been sacked, have been sacked.

Pretty amazing just how much 'dead wood' Trump has hired, huh? I mean can you think of any president in history whose proven to be a more incompetent hiring manager than Trump? I mean as a good example his first national security adviser turned out to be a felon, possibly working as the agent of a foreign power. How stupid does Trump have to be to hire that?
Not really when you look at the pool of talent he has to choose from.
Other presidents had just as bad people under them but we're afraid to act on it.

And how many times have they been wrong...which lends credibility to the "fake news" narrative? Here's just a few...

Puts the lie to having divergent viewpoints around is a good thing. Trump will find even career YES MEN grow tired of kissing ass after awhile.
It's already happening just slower than it should be.

All things considered if Trump replaced him with a corpse I wouldn't be surprised.

Her time in the Senate, her time in the white house, her books, her interviews, the long list of dead bodies in her wake, all you need to do is take off the blinders and research her.

You're the one making the statement that she's the worst SoS of all time, not me. As far as I can see we have a few different topics, so please provide specific events that you think prove your case.

1) Time in the Senate - what did she do there that made her a bad Secretary of State years later?
2) Her time in the White House (meaning in the 90's?) - I would love to know what she did two decades prior that made her a bad SoS.
3) Her books - what chapters of her books made her a bad SoS, specifically?
4) Her interviews - same question.
5) Long list of dead bodies - can you expand on this claim?

I feel like I've given you a decent scaffold to make your case. Please fill it in as much as you can. I'm excited for this discussion and for you to help me 'take off the blinders'!

Other presidents had just as bad people under them but we're afraid to act on it.

So Trump is unable to attract talent? That's bad management right there. If these people are the best his pool of potential hires has to offer then Trump is terrible at attracting talent and it's his fault. If they aren't the best then Trump sucks as a hiring manager.

I imagine it's a combination of both. Trump is incompetent, disloyal, dishonest, and erratic. His administration is in near-constant chaos. That's not a situation most competent professionals want to place themselves in.because they are most likely concerned that they will have their reputations tarnished by working for him. As evidence of this can you name a single, solitary person who has seen their national stature improve after going to work for this White House?
