I liked Tillerson and am sorry to see him go.

Whats funny is that out of all the people in the Administration with history with the Russians, Tillerson didnt turn out to be the Russian stooge everyone said he was. He was just another typical Western businessman who was willing to deal in corrupt business deals, some of which happened to be with the Russians. I was always suspicious about why Bob Gates went to great lengths to personally recommend Tex Tillerson to Trump, makes me wonder if he has been one of the plants of America inside the Russian White House.

May has already accused Putin of committing an offense against a NATO member. UK is considering a response in kind against Russia. As a member of NATO we are obligated to come to the defense of the UK.

Yep. And the NATO treaty is an act that has been enacted by congress. The President can not in any way pull out of NATO on his own, and if he doesnt join the rest of NATO in defending another fellow NATO country then he can be immediately impeached by congress.

Now I really wonder what was discussed with the Kremlin when their entire security apparatus traveled to the US to speak with Pompeo's crew in January.

Methinks it wouldn't be farfetched to conclude that Tillerson was too much "traditional Republican" and not enough "Russian stooge". He condemns Moscow for deploying a nerve agent in the UK while the WH stays silent.
