Okay, sometimes you get controversial people pardoned because they're currently in jail and old or sick, but pardoned while in good health just for the sake of partisanship? Insanity. Utter insanity. Hell- I could see it if Trump had commuted Arpaio's sentence on humanitarian grounds but left the conviction in place. That would uphold the rule of law. We don't even know if the judge would have sentenced Arpaio to jail, or not.

Other than murderers & rapists I'm not much for putting 85 year old has-beens in jail.
