He is not well liked here and there are lots of americans with ties to the phillipines who could see his arrival here as a chance to save their country by getting rid of him. He is very well liked in the Philippines though, no chance of that happening without major bloodshed and protests

You must have missed the part where i said i could go on and on.....Duterte is a war criminal? My point was that the US has invited many brutal rulers to the White House and that inviting Duterte is nothing new.

Although there's a lot to agree with as far as what KMFJD and FIVR have commented on, my angle on this is that it's not so much about those dictatorial types that Trump seems to admire and look up to, It's all about how Trump likes these kinds of folks because he sees that they're just like him and he wishes he could rule America the same way these dictator-types lord over their.....subjects.

And the only reason Trump's not able to is for the fact that those who oppose his style, his agenda to make himself and his fellow billionaires untouchable by the "masses" <---(we, the people)) and the ugliness of his soul are the majority of the nation that votes.

We all know them, they're the 3+ million folks who constitute the majority popular vote that outvoted him, and the majority will absolutely refuse to have Trump rule the nation with an iron fist and jackboot, unlike many of his supporters, who would gladly allow Trump to acquire the power he needs to skirt the boundaries of the Constitution and the BOR to get his (their) way.
