Sounds like we're going to war with NK? GWB part II!
Sounds like we're going to war with NK? GWB part II!
What's the reasoning here? The Cheeto in chief is too lazy to go to the Senate?
It would seem more logical for him to go to them, but this is Trump. It's probably an ego thing.... or because there's a Bunker under the White House....
I seriously doubt that our friends & allies in the ROK want a war so that the Donald can buff up his cred here at home among the deplorables.
The consequences of US aggression against the DPRK are completely incalculable but Donald doesn't seem to care.
Japan has been signaling pro-US messages. Donnie has a rare opening because SK is leaderless.
Just as long as nobody says democracy isn't broken or that we don't want to do anything too radicak to fix it because, well things can always be worse, right? Too bad we didn't have Sanders on the ballot.
What you call filling hearts with dreams I call reminding people that if they want to have any dreams that first have to take their democracy back. Get it back and then we can determine what dreams are possible. We don't want everybody shitting in their pants about what progressives might do. They might raise up a socialist army and we'll all be working for free. You must remember that that terrible conservative brainwashing that has gone on and on for years and years has infected liberals too. Better save than sorry, especially since it's only hope that's at stake.Of course it was the Russians and not a failed mediocre lump of coal.
The msg wasn't "But Bernie", a man is not as important as the ideas behind the man. To dream big and win big by inspiring others to believe in you, and to follow you into a better future. Clinton was already beaten by that in 2008. Trump did some of that with MAGA, and that appeal for a better economic America was undervalued and ignored. The appeal Obama had was altogether dropped from the DNC.
Instead of a bold, fresh face of charisma to change a nation... it was the encrusted old guard telling us to check our expectations. To settle for what we can do instead of what we should do. That is not leadership, it does not whip up and stir votes in hearts filled with dreams.
