They joined with us in the JCPOA precisely to prevent nuclear proliferation by Iran. That's what's kept it from happening. Trump tossed that aside even with total compliance from Iran. If the ROTW can't keep the deal sweet enough w/o us then Iran will basically be pushed into becoming a nuclear power.

False. Iran agreed in perpetuity to the strictest safeguards yet devised for their nuclear facilities of all kinds. They disposed of their stocks of LEU, mothballed most of their enrichment capacity, agreed to a 10 year moratorium on expanding production & filled the Arak reactor core with concrete. They have complied scrupulously with the JCPOA in order to participate more fully in the world economy. They clearly want that more than they want nuclear weapons or they would have just made weapons. It seems unlikely that they'd see it differently down the road, particularly given that they'd have even more to lose.
