No, he's opposing the eco- extremists and big money NGOs.

Eco-extremist like the American Indians? Big money NGOs, so big money corporations?

Again the majority of the american people did not want this what is your answer to that? Remember now this is public land that belongs to all americans just like the national parks and national forest. I will wait for an answer.

We'll see what the Courts say, this is a first step.

...back to 1905... It will be Trump's Yellowstone Park with a roller coaster running through Old Faithful by the time this is all over. Raping and looting the middle class is not enough damnit, we aren't conservative unless we are raping and looting the land too!

IDK when I hear Trump, yellow and geysers all in the same sentence I envision something other than a roller coaster through a Russian hotel bedroom late at night.

If you'd read the various articles you'd see that some members of the Navajo Nation support him in this and have lost access due to Obama's expansion of the Monument area.

Some people oppose any roads or other improvements to the National Parks and think they should all be like the numerous wilderness areas. I'm not one of those and think that reasonable improvements make the Parks more accessible to more people. Trying to find a balance between reasonable use and eco-extremists is the hard part.

For fucks sake, how about taking care of the crumbling infrastructure around us which has a D+ rating? You realize that our infrastructure is now SIGNIFICANTLY behind most of western Europe? Monetizing parks for private looters is so far down the list of priories it is not worth mentioning.

We aren't even in the top 20 for infrastructure any more. We are reeling into second world territory.

They believe liberal tears will power the future Galt's Gulch, to which none of them will be invited of course, but we'll tell them there are 5 golden tickets and show the winners on youtube.

Like these guys?

"Navajo Nation president Russell Begaye on Monday said he’s also prepared to fight Trump — who ignored Navajo requests to speak to him before a decision was made.

“The Bears Ears Monument is of critical importance, not only to the Navajo Nation but to many tribes in the region,” Begaye said. “The Navajo Nation will defend Bears Ears.”

Vice President Jonathan Nez called Trump’s decision “unlawful” and that they would “continue to fight in honor of our ancestral warriors who fought for our ways of life, for our culture and for our land too.”

Navajo Nation promises lawsuit against Trump’s national monument rollback

"The tribal government of the Navajo Nation is preparing to sue President Trump to reverse his decision to significantly shrink Utah’s Bears Ears National Monument.

The Navajos, who consider much of the original 1.4 million-acre monument area to be sacred and culturally significant, plan to file a federal lawsuit with four other nearby tribes who had been pushing for the land protections for decades before then-President Barack Obama created it last year."

Yep, sounds like really big support. Only the biggest support for sure.

I'm waiting for him to create a new national monument called Mount Trumpmore with a giant orange likeness of himself carved into a pathetic rock-face.

OK since you seem to be rather thick on this.

NO ONE HAS LOST ACCESS TO THE LANDS. Except big corporations.

Despite what the liar in chief said hunters ranchers grazers fisherman still have access, especially the american indians and why do you ask? BECAUSE The Bear's Ear monument was only made possible with a coalition of local indian tribes.

They found 1 navajo indian and paraded her up to act like the indians support trump decimating bear's ear. So typical of Trump.

Yet;

"A coalition of Native American tribes said it will sue the Trump administration by the end of the day for President Trump's decision to shrink the Bears Ears National Monument in Utah.

“What the president has purported to do is outside the scope of his authority,” said Navajo Nation Attorney General Ethel Branch on Monday. "We think the law is clear."

"We are filing a joint complaint by the five nations,” Branch added, according to a tweet shared by the Bears Ears Inter-Tribal Coalition. “We anticipate filing by the end of the day.""

Navajo Nation vows to sue Trump if he shrinks Bears Ears national ...

Shrinking Bears Ears: Another massive insult to Native Americans ...

Five American Indian tribes, furious over Trump shrinking Bears Ears ...

So what about the Navajo?

Don't forget Native American tribes. Always whining about their "history" and "culture". Trying to lock up perfectly good land that could be used as a dump for mine tailings or nuclear waste. How's that going to #maga?

Bears Ears becomes Trumps Hands Radioactive Theme Park... where the park guest can experience the thrill of dumping a bucket of radioactive waste over ancient Indian drawing (for a small additional fee of course).

What about it? Some members have lost access as was stated in the article. Other people have lost access to wood gathering and grazing as stated in the article. I'm perfectly happy to see the Courts decide on this. We'll see.

"some members" probably believe in bigfoot or think the earth is flat.

And now Dump's flunky is messing with Cascade-Siskiyou. Expect Oregon's congressional delegation to come out against it. Except probably that Paul Ryan bootlicker Walden. Any chance Dump will make a side trip to Portland to brag about it?
